The role

Allied Health Services includes Cardiac Science, Nutrition & Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech & Hearing, and Podiatry with a visiting Prosthetics & Orthotics service.hese professional teams provide a multidisciplinary approach to service delivery to the North West Hospital and Health Service NWHHS, delivering Level 4 inpatient and ambulatory care within the Mount Isa Hospital.he NWHHS Allied Health Services work in partnership with external service providers to support clinical service delivery across the region.ost professional groups are actively engaged in student placements from universities Australia Wide.p>

This position is a role based across inpatient, and outpatient settings based at Mount Isa Hospital including contributing to service development in Dialysis and Emergency Department under the supervision of the Senior Podiatrist.he Podiatry Department is currently leading projects with an eConsultation platform and orthotic modification laboratory, therefore a keen interest in quality improvement is desirable.p>

Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences, evidence of these will be required prior to appointment.re-employment screening will be conducted for the successful candidate; this include criminal history checks and Vaccine Preventable Diseases VPD risk role compliance.PD risk roles require evidence of vaccination or immunity to

Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis and COVID-. 6-month period of probation apply.p>
