Respiratory Consultants is a respiratory and sleep practice located at St Andrews Medical Centre in Adelaide. St Andrews Medical Centre is a multidisciplinary specialist centre.1 fully equipped lung function lab is on site in our practice. We are looking for a respiratory technician with at least 6 months experience. The position is for permanent Part Time, no after hours or weekend work, no on call, and with flexibility in working hours.
You will be required to independently perform: ·Full Lung Function Testing (Spirometry, DLCO, and Plethysmography);
·Bronchial provocation tests (mannitol);




·Maximal inspiratory and expiratory pressures (MIPs and MEPs);
·Fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO);
·6 minute walk test;
·Accurate reports on the above tests;
You will be required to perform duties relating to the ongoing function and maintenance of the respiratory lab and its equipment including: •Calibration and Quality control; supply ordering, problem troubleshooting and liasing with external support services when needed.
Candidates eligible for this position should possess:
• A tertiary qualification in applied science, clinical measurements, or humanphysiology; preferred but not essential
• Previous experience in similar role: essential
• Proficiency in performing complex respiratory physiology measurements; essential
•Experience with Sentrysuite software essential; Genie desirable, but not essential.
