The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Support Assistant to assist clients in maintaining their independence while living in their own homes for as long as possible. This is a permanent part time position with a minimum of 10 hours per week, with the potential for more hours depending on client’s needs and your availability.
As a Support Assistant You Will Assist Our Clients By Helping Them With Everyday Activities Such As (but Not Limited To)
Support and assistance with personal careHousehold cleaning and laundryAssistance with shopping and Welfare checksSocial Support Group
What We Are Looking For In You
Certificate III in Individual Support or qualifications and experience in a similar roleCurrent Class ‘C’ driver licenceCurrent National Police Check and Working with Children Check clearanceCurrent Provide First Aid and CPR CertificatesOwn a roadworthy, well maintained and tidy vehicle, available for use in day to day duties if a Bland Community Care Service vehicle is unavailableCurrent Comprehensive Car InsuranceA caring and empathetic natureYou want to make a difference in your community
