Vintners Wine Bar is the newest venture from McHenry Hohnen, opening soon in the heart of Witchcliffe—a small village just south of Margaret River with a fast-growing food and wine scene.
We’re on the hunt for a committed and skilled Sous Chef to join our opening team and help define the culinary identity of the venue. This is a chance to be part of something from day one—working with a Head Chef who brings a refined, produce-first approach and a deep appreciation for the South West’s bounty.
The Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to develop and deliver a seasonal, ever-evolving menu inspired by Modern European flavours and built around the best local ingredients.
You’ll be hands-on in both service and planning—driving kitchen operations and mentoring junior staff.
We’re Looking For
· Proven experience as a Sous Chef, or a strong Senior CDP ready to take the next step
· A deep passion for local, seasonal produce
· Precision, consistency and a sharp eye for detail
· A calm, collaborative mindset—this is a new kitchen and we’re building it right
