Drive complex software delivery in a fast-growing fintech
At DataMesh, we’re on a mission to revolutionise payments and we need a Technical Project Manager who’s ready to lead the charge. This isn’t your typical project management gig.
You’ll be the end-to-end owner of delivery, translating vision into action and managing complex technical projects across infrastructure, product, and engineering.
If you’ve come from a technical background perhaps as a developer, engineer, or analyst and now thrive on making delivery happen, this role will give you the autonomy, visibility, and impact you’re looking for. Experience in payments or financial services is a bonus, but what we really value is someone who understands how to turn complexity into structure and keep momentum going from kick-off to go live.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead end-to-end delivery of software projects - scoping, planning, executing, and closing with precision.
- Work cross-functionally with developers, analysts, product managers, DevOps, and tech leads to translate business goals into well-defined, technical work.
- Create detailed delivery plans with clear dependencies across product, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
- Own timelines, risks, scope, and communications ensuring everyone is aligned and nothing falls through the cracks.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, kick-offs, retros, and stakeholder updates that drive progress, not just reports.
- Support teams through change, whether it’s improving delivery discipline, moving to more automation, or embedding new delivery practices.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to others, fostering a high-performance, delivery-first culture.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end software development projects in a technical role, either as a Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or former engineer/BA.
- Solid background in software development or technical analysis - you understand how code gets built, tested, and released.
- Experience in fintech, banking, or payments is highly desirable, but not essential if you’ve delivered technically complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong documentation skills: project plans, risk registers, stakeholder comms, status reports, you keep it clear, concise, and actionable.
- A structured approach to managing scope, change control, and technical dependencies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management - you align business and tech without getting lost in translation.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset - you don’t just report blockers, you help remove them.
- A calm, motivating presence, you bring focus, momentum, and clarity to the team.
