At DataMesh, we’re on a mission to reimagine how payments work—from the ground up. As we continue to scale,
we’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between bold business ideas and technical execution. If you're a curious problem-solver with a passion for digital payments, APIs, and collaborative teamwork, this is your moment.
You’ll be at the centre of our most critical initiatives, translating complex business needs into smart, scalable software solutions. From facilitating workshops with stakeholders to mapping out seamless integrations, your work will shape the future of our products and the way our customers engage with them.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead engaging workshops and discovery sessions with internal teams and clients to uncover business needs and technical requirements.
- Translate these into high-quality user stories, complete with wireframes, process flows, sequence diagrams, and data mappings.
- Work closely with developers, testers, product managers, and client-facing teams to ensure smooth, end-to-end delivery.
- Dive into solution design, mapping APIs, defining specs, and modelling workflows that deliver real impact.
- Own and manage change requests, support system integrations and migrations,
and help troubleshoot challenges during delivery.
- Champion continuous improvement, from internal processes to BA best practices and documentation standards.
- Bring a product-thinking mindset to roadmap discussions, assessing feasibility and impact of new ideas.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Technical or Senior Business Analyst in payments, fintech, or SaaS (card-present/card-not-present experience is a huge plus!).
- A solid grasp of payment processing lifecycles, reconciliation, and compliance.
- Deep technical fluency—especially in process modelling, API specifications, sequence diagrams, and integration workflows.
- Confidence using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and Postman, and navigating agile product environments.
- A natural collaborator and communicator—you build trust across stakeholders,
ask the right questions, and influence outcomes.
- Thrive in ambiguity and high-growth environments—you’re proactive, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
