Kids are Kids! is a community based not-for-profit organisation providing quality therapy services to support children and their families. Our main office is in Bateman, and we also have an office in Armadale. This position will be required to work from both premises.
We have an opportunity for a Part Time (0.8FTE) or Full Time, experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to work alongside our current, very busy team of Administration staff. This position is a 12 month term maternity leave contract with the potential for extension.
As one of the first points of contact for Kids Are Kids! you will have a genuine interest in children and families experiencing challenges in their lives.
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of at least 3 years experience.
The successful applicant will be someone who meets the following criteria :
- Proven interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer service and administrative support in a busy office environment.
- High level skills in working with Microsoft outlook calendars.
- Strong organisation / time management skills with the ability to learn on the job & possess a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- High level of ability to multi-task, be able to deal with interruptions and assist the clinical team at any time.
- Attention to detail and proactive work ethic.
- Problem solve and stay calm under pressure.
- Professional positive approach and manner.
- Able to work autonomously and communicate respectfully with clinical staff, clients, and community stakeholders.
- Computer and software application skills in Microsoft Office Programs, previous use of Xero and Salesforce would be an advantage.
- Invoicing and data entry would also be an advantage.
- Experience in health / disability industry (NDIS) is favourable.
