We are a leading specialist psychiatry practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. Our team of highly trained specialist psychiatrists and support staff is committed to delivering personalised, compassionate healthcare. We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our practices, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the practice,
ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of patient care.
- Manage and supervise a team of administrative and clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, patient records, and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Implement and enforce office policies, procedures, and best practices to improve patient outcomes and practice efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards, including patient confidentiality and data protection.
- Collaborate with the medical team to improve patient services, workflow, and operational efficiency.
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff members.
- Manage inventory and supply ordering to ensure the practice has the necessary resources.
- General medical admin duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, billing/accounting, and responding to emails.
- You will need to be available to work across two clinic sites (Karrinyup and East Perth), various shift patterns during clinic opening hours (the clinics are open Mon-Sun 7am to 7pm) and flexible to cover staff sick days at short notice.
Key Requirements:
- Preferred experience in medical admin, practice management or in a similar role within a healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency with practice management software (Xestro) preferred.
