About the Role

Irena Care is seeking a driven and community-connected Regional Manager to lead our NDIS expansion across Newcastle, Maitland, Tamworth, Taree, and the Upper Hunter. This is a unique opportunity to start as a contractor and transition to a full-time leadership role after 3 months—based on performance.
You’ll lead all aspects of regional growth, stakeholder engagement, intake and compliance,
and operational performance—while earning strong bonuses and commission for your impact.

Your Core Responsibilities
Growth & Stakeholder Engagement
- Drive participant referrals and regional brand growth
- Build partnerships with John Hunter, Maitland, and Tamworth Hospitals, LACs, PHNs, GPs, aged care, and allied health providers
- Represent Irena Care at expos, hospital discharge meetings, and local networks
Operations & Intake
- Lead end-to-end participant onboarding, service agreements, and intake
- Oversee documentation, CRM entries, and ensure NDIS compliance
- Identify and address service gaps and unmet regional needs
Team & Financial Management
- Recruit and supervise support staff as the region grows
- Monitor local budgets, rosters, caseloads, and workforce planning
- Report on KPIs and service outcomes to national leadership
About You
You are a proactive leader who knows your local region, builds genuine relationships, and is driven to make a difference.
You May Come From:
- NDIS, aged care, community health, hospital discharge, or case management
- Support coordination, allied health, or disability leadership roles
You Bring:
- Strong knowledge of the Newcastle, Hunter, or New England community landscape
- Confidence in stakeholder engagement and referral generation
- Experience managing services, staff, or projects in the community sector
- Valid Driver’s Licence + own vehicle (fuel card provided)
- NDIS Worker Screening + Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Base yourself in Newcastle or Tamworth, covering:
