About the Role

As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This role offers the opportunity to consolidate your skills across the entire patient perioperative journey, from admission through to recovery and discharge. You will develop expertise in assisting with a variety of simple and complex procedures while working within a supportive and professional clinical environment.

In this role,



you will also be offered comprehensive training in the cleaning and disinfection of specialised endoscopic equipment. With a focus on continuous professional development, you will grow from a novice practitioner to a proficient nurse while maintaining accountability for your own nursing standards and any delegated tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your clinical skills while delivering person-centred care in a specialised field.

About You

You are a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. You possess excellent communication skills, sound clinical judgement, and a commitment to delivering person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team.

- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practising certificate.

- Effective communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads in a dynamic environment.

- Demonstrated competence in nursing practice, with flexibility,



creativity and a commitment to providing patient and family-centred care.

- Sound knowledge of nursing standards, legislation, codes of ethics, quality improvement systems, and the role of the Registered Nurse within the healthcare setting.
