Join our clients' team as a Dental Coordinator and play a key role in delivering high-quality care and exceptional experiences to patients and clinicians.
About the Role:
As the Dental Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental centre, managing both administrative and clinical functions. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring strong organisational, financial, and interpersonal skills to support our dentists, dental assistants, and receptionists in delivering outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the dental centre, including rostering, billing, stock control, and maintenance
- Manage and mentor dental assistants and receptionists,
fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence
- Support dentists with procedural and clinical assistance when needed
- Ensure compliance with WHS, infection control, and quality management standards
- Address patient and clinician concerns with professionalism and care
- Analyse and manage centre budgets, profit and loss reports, and performance metrics
- Lead initiatives to improve patient experience and streamline workflows
What We’re Looking For:
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or a relevant management qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience in the dental industry with a strong customer service background
- Proven ability to manage teams, rosters, and clinical operations
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of D4W, Kronos, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to interpret and act on financial reports
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
