The Coachman Hotel is one of the busiest pubs in Parkes with a reputation of exceptional food, ice cold beer and an atmosphere to remember!
We are currently on the hunt for a new Head Chef to manage our kitchen operations and be a part of our ever-growing business. We are looking for an individual that has at least 5 years’ experience managing a commercial kitchen. They must be highly capable in managing and rostering a small kitchen team, fluent in knowledge of produce and how to use it. This role also involves menu planning, keeping up to date with functions and liaising with clients that come in for information.
Your duties will include but not limited to ordering, rostering, cooking, menu planning, cleaning, stocktake monthly,
function setups and organising, communicating with the FOH supervisor and managing the kitchen team.
We are a fastpaced pub so experience in a similar environment is a bonus! The individual must hold a food safety supervisors’ certificate and relevant cookery credentials, weekends are a must and working to the business needs is imperative.
