We are looking for an experienced Full Time Team Leader to lead and manage a team providing support to clients with complex needs living in group homes and SIL accommodations in SOUTHEASTERN MELBOURNE.

As Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring that the people you are supporting have meaningful engagement with the community in all its forms and ensuring their complex needs are being met.

You will work hands on with the clients 5 days in a week dedicated to supporting and coaching the team, liaising & working together with all relevant stake holders in relation to client's wellbeing, and service delivery matters and participating in monitoring and evaluation of service performance and client outcomes.

The Day to Day

- Mentor and support a team of mental health and disability support workers

- Conducting House meetings every month

- Ensure supports deliver a high-quality, person-centred experience

- Champion strategic direction and promote and support change initiatives as they occur

- Provide effective team leadership including supervision, support and mentoring to team members

- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders

- Ensure employee rosters, resources, other expenditure aligns to budgets

- Ensure customer support is person centred and align to customer aspirations. Proactively seek innovative ways to support customer journey.

- Inducting new staff

- Roster may include mornings, evenings, weekdays and weekends, with an opportunity to build your roster to suit your needs

As an experienced Team Leader, you will have:

Proven experience in leading teams with commitment to ongoing development to build team capability

- Relevant Tertiary qualifications and/or knowledge and experience

- Minimum 2 Year Team leading / House Manager experience

- Comprehensive understanding of NDIS

- Ability to actively navigate and adapt to change

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong administration skills

- Valid Victorian Driver Licence

- Current First Aid (Valid for three years)

- Current CPR (Valid for one year)

- Current National Police Check (Valid for one year)

- International Police Check (if you have lived overseas in the last 10 years in any one country for longer than 12 months)

- Identification check

- Current Working with Children's Check

- NDIS worker screening clearance

- Minimum two referee checks

- Understanding of restrictive practices and reportable incidents.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Salary: From $40.00 per hour
