WHAT YOU'LL DO We are seeking exceptional candidates with experience and passion to fill a Analyst position in BCG GAMMA. This global business unit is an integral part of BCG's strategy to develop new digital client service offerings in order to deliver superior value and sustained impact. The unit has responsibilities for full-life cycle of BCG proprietary data and software assets, from initial business case to roadmap delivery, launch, and ongoing support operations. All of BCG's core product capabilities are housed within the business unit including product management, design, development, support and data analytics experts who work in deep collaboration with BCG practice areas, consulting teams and clients. This team,
of highly motivated and insightful colleagues, will provide an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment supported by a global management consulting firm, which is the world's leading advisor on business strategy. Candidates should possess an entrepreneurial drive and have demonstrated experience in client service & leading technical product delivery efforts. This delivery expert will work very closely with the product manager, topic/delivery experts and the engineering team. You will join an expanding team which implements flagship products. Flagship products are multi-million dollar BCG products which complement their consulting offerings. You will join the Software delivery team in the Product Delivery & Support function to support the implementation and maintenance of the products for our clients. Primary responsibilities include (and not limited to):
Client Requirements, Business Processes Change* Works together with the BCG case team and BCG's clients to understand client's processes, business requirements, and data structure / challenges* Responds to client inquiries and requests:
Troubleshooting, software configurations, service issues* Demonstrates a proactive, solution-based approach to enhance client relations via meetings, calls, emails, and chat* Constructs and manages the implementation project plan with customer counterpart, including setting and managing customer expectations based on the current state of product offerings and services* Builds a deep understanding of BCG topic methodology and is able to proactively apply methodology to case and client's situation, as well as through the solution or softwareApplication Delivery, Implementation and Support* Works together with Senior solution delivery members, BCG case team, BCG's clients, and Topic experts to understand client's processes, business requirements, and delivery program specifics requirements* Collaborates with engineering and infrastructure teams to diagnose and resolve application's technical and/or non-technical problems, bugs, performance, and other issues* Documents, tracks, and monitors application's bugs, problems, and issues to ensure timely resolution* Runs QC on products/identifies anomalies, inconsistencies in data and flag it to the relevant team/ senior colleagues (with no/very limited guidance)* Looks for opportunities to continuously improve our services and offeringData and Analytics Management, Application Setup* Configures and sets up the software to client's needs* Analyzes data (e.g. reports, surveys, products, market) leveraging data analytics tools with no/minimal supervision from senior colleagues, for product development/management purposes as well as for case/client support work or for product implementation* Engages in problem solving and actively supports processes like data extraction, ingestion, ETL, calculations, outlier analysis, and standard outputs for product and case-related work* Delivers ad-hoc requests from case or proposal teams to leverage (benchmarking, market, internal/external) data/databases (with no/very limited senior guidance• Ensures high quality of output by validation and checks/test at various stages of the data management process with limited guidance.
