About Us We are an Australian-owned company who has successfully delivered integrated construction and engineering solutions for over 40 years in the infrastructure, resources, energy and construction sectors across Australia.

Due to ongoing growth within our business, we are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our project team.

As the Superintendent you will be responsible for the implementation of the construction plan, ensuring all construction activities are controlled and coordinated to Decmil's and the Client's standard while meeting/exceeding quality, time, safety and profit objectives.

This would be a permanent, Project based role, with a roster of 14 days on,

7 days off (FIFO or DIDO depending on Project location). TMR experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities include

Ensure daily site dairies and timesheets are completed by Supervision team.

Develop and monitor compliance with short range program (SRP) and medium range program (MRP) in line with main contract program

Ensure the successful delivery of assigned project

Ensure effective utilisation and management of plant and equipment resources

Liaise with client representatives over site based issues, working towards time efficient resolutions

Ensure project construction methodology and project delivery plans are reviewed and implemented

Ensure asset management procedures are complied with

Review of project risks, methods and equipment proposals

Manage site based activities involving direct labour, subcontractors and materials to ensure all safety, quality and time requirements are met

Assist in ensuring strict financial control and reporting is in place for the project

Monitor construction activities against budget and forecast final costs and take corrective action where deviations from budget occur

Carry out inspection of all work areas assigned to you and report through CMO

Carry out workplace and task hazard identification, risk assessments and control i.e. JHA's and SWMS's

Ensure all required work permits are in place before commencing work.

What We Are Looking For

To be considered for this role you will have:

Trade qualification and/or experience in building and construction related discipline as required

Preferably a minimum 10 years Supervisory experience

Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent preferred

Construction induction white card

Current Australian 'C' class manual Drivers Licence

Proven financial, risk, commercial, contractual and human resource management skills

Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty and performance management

Proven performance on successful projects with an exemplary safety track record.
