This established name in the healthcare recruitment is a genuine industry leader and continues to win awards nationally. The Contracting Manager has the opportunity to work with the business and influence strategic decision making. Responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with Managers and Consultants to identify business development opportunities by sharing analytical insights on year-on-year performance

- Assist with preparation of tenders of contingent business and PSA proposals. This will include contributing towards the negotiation of terms and conditions to ensure strong commercial outcomes

- Manage compliance and audit compliance for all contractors and associations with clients. You will be expected to review relevant EBAs/Awards to ensure correct conditions are in place, as well as ensuring a smooth process of client invoicing

- Manage a payroll officer and oversee the accurate and efficient completion of the contractor payroll. The payroll officer is experienced and autonomous, so the position is not expected to be ‘hands-on” processing payroll run

- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements around contractor support and management

Your Background

- Previous experience managing contractor compliance and payroll in the recruitment industry is the closest match

- You have an aptitude and willingness to grasp new concepts quickly, such as self-learning healthcare Awards/EBAs

- We need someone who enjoys building relationships across a business and who strives to add value through imparting their own knowledge. This type of business partnering behaviour should be highlighted

- Experience managing the development of a small team and knowledge of Bullhorn/Astute is preferred
