About the Role

A permanent part-time role has arisen within the City of Parramatta Council for a Printing Officer.

This position involves the operation of Fujifilm Versant 180 and C70 digital production printers, as well as print finishing such as guillotining and binding. The successful applicant will also be required to assist the Design Department in a mid-level graphic design capacity. The position also includes digital pre-press and file manipulation, general office administration and stock control. Some lifting will be required. This is a customer service orientated role and would suit somebody who has experience working in a busy corporate environment.


the candidate will have at least three years’ experience working in a print production environment, as well as:

- Experience with Fujifilm (or equivalent) colour production laser printers

- A knowledge of digital pre-press, utilizing Adobe Acrobat and Fiery Command Workstation

- An intermediate knowledge of Adobe CC, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

As stated, this is a permanent part-time role, 21 hours per week. Hours of operation will be 9:00am to 4:30pm, Wednesday to Friday. The Printing Officer will be required to work unsupervised.
