Following an announcement by the Tasmanian Government, a Public Health Direction was issued on 10 September 2021 requiring that all Health Workers are vaccinated against COVID-19. This step is critical in protecting both our health workforce and vulnerable Tasmanians in our care.

As a member of Human Resource Services, perform multiple and diverse tasks associated with recruitment processes for the Department of Health (DoH)
The Northern Recruitment team is a small,
supportive unit which provides support and advice to hiring managers within the Department of Health to ensure that recruitment activity occurs in line with relevant policies and legislation. The team is responsible for preparing advertisement content and accurate and timely employment documentation in support of both internal staff movements and external recruitment activity. While experience in similar roles is advantageous, training and ongoing support is provided in house.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, full time, day work position working 76 hours per fortnight
*notwithstanding part time hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary:$64,212- $69,522 per annum+ 10% superannuation
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

crimes involving dishonesty
