For more information please visit www.monashhealth.org.About the Role:The Digital Health Division (DHD) is a newly formed division at Monash Health under one executive sponsor (Executive Director Information Development) that combines three departments:Technology Operations – provides support for the use and development of Information and Communications Technology across Monash Health.DHD Project Management Office (PMO) – the objective of the DHD PMO is to achieve consistently successful project execution that is efficient and well managed. The DHD PMO serves as a centralised project management service for all projects related to Monash Health’s division of Information Development; andElectronic Medical Record (EMR) Program – department responsible for the implementation of the organisation wide EMR which will allow clinicians to be able to access a patient’s clinical information in one place easily.This structure ensures a cohesive delivery of an Information System goal of moving towards a paperless health care environment while simultaneously supporting the priorities and needs of the health service. Designed well, ICT combined with the EMR will streamline clinical workflow and processes delivering improvement in quality and efficiency, with a high level of user experience improving patient care.Job summarySenior Network & Voice Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of the Monash Health enterprise Cisco Collaboration platform.The position is within the Enterprise Infrastructure Team operating primarily from Monash Health Technology Business Services in Clayton. The position reports to the Head of Enterprise Infrastructure.Key result areasKey responsibilities for the position are as follows:Responsible for the solution planning, architecture, development, and delivery of Cisco Collaboration product.Provide best practice recommendations on Cisco Collaboration platform.Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Cisco Collaboration system (Cisco Call Manager, WebEx Contact Centre, Expressway, Unity Connection, Voice Gateway).Participate in the design and development of Cisco Collaboration platformProvide advanced troubleshooting of Cisco Collaboration related issues.Development of technical standards, procedures and documentation for the Monash Health Cisco Collaboration platform.Provide support of Cisco wire and wireless network as required.Provide support of health care duress, nurse call, paging system support as required.Ability to priorities and make decisions regarding technical solution based on policy and operation guidelines.Develop and maintain a customer focused culture and contribute to a friendly and co-operative working environment and fostering strong working relationships with all colleagues to deliver quality outcomes.On-call after hours support based on rotational roster.Qualifications/registrations/licences (italics indicate desirable)Prior experience in the Network & Voice Engineer role or similar.Tertiary and/or Industry Qualifications in Information Technology.Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCNP or CCIE) voice / collaborationTechnical skills/knowledge/experienceExtensive experience in Cisco Call Manager 11+ (essential).Extensive experience in Cisco Unity Connection 11+ (essential).Extensive experience in Cisco WebEx Contact Centre(essential).Extensive experience in Cisco Expressway (essential).Demonstrated experience in Cisco networking platform (essential).Demonstrated experience in Cisco wireless (desirable).Deep level of understanding of voice technologies: Enterprise Voice configurations, policies, and routing over a complex WAN infrastructure (SBC, SIP, Media Gateways, VoIP, ISDN, PBX, Codecs, QoS), video and mobility.Knowledge of Cisco Data Centre Platform (desirable).Knowledge of ITIL (advantageous) and Certification.Project Management experience (desirable).Minimum of 7 years of Cisco Call Manager experience (essential).Experience with medium to large scale Enterprise environment organisations (essential).Demonstrated experience in working in an ITIL “best practice” environment in particular Change, Incident and Problem Management.Demonstrated experience in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.Ability to foster working relationships and contribute to positive team culture.Ability to work within deadlines.Network Infrastructure troubleshooting skills.Excellent customer service skills.Excellent verbal/written communication and documentation skills.Excellent time and personnel management skills.Ability to work unsupervised.Superior interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.An understanding of best practice techniques as they relate to information and technology architectures, strategy development, systems integration, systems development and implementation, and service delivery management.An understanding of structured project management in relation to the delivery of ICT projects.Experience in vendor management, dispute resolution and account management.Proven abilities to operation within Change management, Incident Management and Problem Management Framework.Other position requirementsAs we support a culture of safety through employee immunisation, there must be documentation provided confirming completed immunisation on employment at Monash Health.Current and satisfactory Police Check (must also comply with Aged Care Act 1997 Accountability Amendment Principles 2012 if working in Aged Care setting).Current and satisfactory Working with Children Check.Applicants who are new to Monash Health will be required to enter into an Employment Agreement before commencement.Applicants who are new to Monash Health must provide evidence of immunisation before they can receive an offer of employment.The incumbent will be required to work across all Monash Health Sites.Australian Drivers Licence.What We Offer:Salary packagingOn-site fitness centreOn-site subsidised car parkingMonthly ADO’s (available for full-time employees)Free lifestyle management seminars (superannuation, retirement, etc.)Access to salary packaging, private health insurance and industry banking at competitive rates.How to ApplyMonash Health recognises the value of equal employment opportunity and is committed to patient safety and promoting fairness, equity and diversity in the workplace.
