Fulton Hogan are currently sourcing for an experienced Leading Hand – Bridges, to join the team delivery our Australian Regional South Road Maintenance contract, based in Murray Bridge. The Leading Hand Bridges will provide onsite leadership for the delivery of bridge maintenance and construction, by the in-house bridge crew and specialist subcontractors.
This is a permanent full time opportunity with Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Services that will report into the Project Engineer – Bridges.
You will be responsible for:
Adhere to the Fulton Hogan values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & Leadership
and managing the delivery of bridge maintenance and construction activities
Provide input to bridge programme development to minimise disruption to others and leverage efficiencies.
Maintain an outcome-focused ‘Best for Network approach to maintenance planning and decision making that provides safe and acceptable road, roadside and bridge conditions at least overall cost to the community.
Hands on leadership of maintenance works delivered by in-house crews
Provide clear knowledge transfer of DIT’s Bridge Maintenance specifications and standard drawings to in-house crews.
Ensure effective application of systems, procedures and plans including quality.
Monitor team health and provide feedback from staff and contractors on the team culture.
Ensure compliance with legislative and the Integrated Management Plan, across Safety, Quality and Environmental matters in all areas of the operations.
What we need from you?
Minimum 3 years as a Leading Hand with relevant bridge maintenance and construction experience
Level 1 Bridge Inspection (preferred)
First Aid Certificate
