Smoke Alarm Solutions is the leading provider of residential smoke alarm compliance and maintenance services to the Australian real estate industry. We are Australian owned and operated since 2007 with local technicians and electricians located throughout Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

About the role

In addition to providing first class EA support to our Chief Operating Officer you'll manage our beautiful office in Hendra which is home to approximately 90+ of our employees. You will also work closely with our wider leadership team providing ad-hoc support when needed. This role is a key liaison between all business units.

You'll help champion a fun and positive culture in head office where 90+ members of our team work hard to deliver for the business and our customers. This role reports to our COO.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Provide COO with EA support, acting as a point of contact for internal colleagues

- Organise meetings on behalf of COO

- Management of COO’s calendar

- Take and distribute accurate minutes from the weekly leadership meeting

- Preparation of letters, presentations, and reports, as needed

- Credit card reconciliations

- Organising internal and external events including the year end awards and celebration

- Ensuring the office runs smoothly from liaising with suppliers to ensure office and kitchen supplies are maintained

- Support leadership team with ad-hoc administration work

- Organise and maintain required training on Emergency, Evacuation Procedure

To be successful in this role you:

- Love to organise and pride yourself on being ‘one step ahead’

- Operate with absolute discretion and integrity

- Can work autonomously and in a team situation

- Have strong written and verbal communication

- Have a good eye for detail

- Are agile and can successfully jump between tasks as the day changes

- Are a proactive problem solver who shows initiative

- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

- SharePoint experience advantageous

- Demonstrated experience in an Office Manager or EA role of at least 5-years
