Avida is Australia's largest motorhome manufacturer. We have been manufacturing quality Recreational Vehicles for over 55 years. Our manufacturing facility is located at Emu Plains, in Western Sydney. We have a dealer sales network throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Due to our business growth, we are recruiting Production Assemblers who are enthusiastic, have a strong work ethic, are reliable, energetic, process driven and possess mechanical aptitude.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to a Team Leader, you will work in a team environment and play a vital role to ensure that a high standard of quality work is achieved on time, consistently and efficiently.

This is an exciting time in our business as we continue to improve our LEAN practices, and work towards World Class Manufacturing.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of these Production Assemblers roles include but are not limited to:

- Connecting vehicle equipment and accessories to the vehicles power supply/ and or batteries (cable harnesses);

- Installing electrical equipment and electronic components 12 volt and 240 volt;

- Assembly of cabinetry by following drawings and specifications;

- Load programs, operate and maintain CNC machine to cut laminating;

- Preparation and installation of roofs (i.e., install of roof appliances e.g., aerials, roof hatches; preparation, fitment and sealing of nose cones etc);

- Prepare floors and seal floor (floor preparation for furniture installation);

- Cutting materials, sewing machine operation and fitting and stapling covers;

- Installation of internal fixtures (e.g., doors, mirrors, trims etc.);

- Retrim interior cabin e.g., head linings and carpet;

- Construction and installation of slide out box;

- Continuous improvements;

- Adhere to WH&S; standards at all times; and
