About the role

The Transport Solutions (Business Process Optimization - BPO) Manager is responsible for providing transport design solutions and commercial modelling expertise to support key business development or process optimization projects both internally and externally. The successful candidate will utilise a mixture of both financial acumen and transport operations expertise to understand complex supply chains and to provide support to the Regional Inland Logistics team across Asia Pacific.

Some of the key responsibilities and accountabilities:

- Lead the analysis, design, and development of transport solutions

- Undertake rigorous commercial modelling and development of optimised multimodal logistical solutions to support customer growth initiatives

- Provide advice around supply chain development

- Prepare presentations of project findings and analysis for effective decision making.

- Maximise Swire Shipping’s stakeholder experience by designing processes and assisting in development of operating systems to integrate our ocean and inland products

Skills / experience required:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business with recognised Supply Chain domain expertise

- 8+ years experience working within a supply chain, freight forwarding and warehousing, preferably within an established multinational organisation

- Project Management certifications and knowledge of agile processes/principles will be an added advantage

- Consulting experience is highly desirable as a Contractor/Project Manager/Supply Chain Advisor, supporting the achievement of transformation goals

- Supply chain solution design expertise across end to end logistics

- Experience with FMS (eg Cargowise), WMS and TMS systems, warehouse design and inventory management and process improvement

- Well established network in the Asia Pacific logistics market
