Bundy Bullet are specialists in freight distribution to the Burnett Region which includes Bundaberg, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Gympie, Kingaroy and Murgon.

About the role

Reporting to the Compliance Manager your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Data entry of customer requests

- Complete manifests and consignments for regional depots

- Arrange on-forwarding of freight from regional depots

- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

- Auditing contractor payments

- Invoicing of cash sales

- Assist the Compliance Manager as required

- Adhoc office duties

- Adhering to company policies and procedures

- Telephone bookings and enquiries

- Email bookings, enquiries and quotes

- Checking of all jobs before manifesting

- Freight location queries

- Checking and entry of return goods from northern depots

- Raising of DCR's for other depots and on forwarders – checking of payments and weights

- Obtaining quotes from on forwarders for shipments for customers

- Adjusting and/or fixing invoicing issues

- Data entry and forwarding of return jobs from Regional depots

- CNQ data entry

- Cubing of freight

Skills and experience

To succeed, you will have 2-3 years' experience in an administration role within a transport & logistics company.

- Manifesting experience ESSENTIAL

- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – Word/Excel

- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

- A friendly and proactive approach to your job

- High level of accuracy and attention to details

- Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills

- Availability to work Monday to Friday

- Overtime as required

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work in a small team

- Proactive solution seeking

- Own Transport
