Tissue Repair is a biotechnology start-up aiming to revolutionize wound healing with a mission to develop next-generation highly effective wound healing agents applicable globally for all wound types



You will be joining a dedicated founding team consisting of venture, scientific, drug development and pharmaceutical executives aimed at delivering significant social impact. You will be at the centre of assisting this dedicated team to achieve its ambitions providing executive support to the co-founder and COO and the Board, and assisting in coordinating all the key teams and workstreams within the company.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities



- Coordinate executive communications, meetings including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with all the companies’ stakeholders

- Prepare internal and external corporate documents (statements, reports, memos, invoices, letters) for team members and industry partners

- Accurately record and distribute Minutes from key meetings (eg: Board meetings).

- Schedule meetings and appointments and manage travel itineraries where required

- Manage monthly business calendar.

- Organise, attend, take actions and follow-ups in Executive Leadership Team meetings –regular weekly meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, Kick-Off Meetings;

- Board related tasks – compilation and distribution of monthly board and committee papers and all logistics of board meetings, as well as assist Board members as required

- The key point of contact with service providers: IT, Facilities, Phones, Cleaners, etc.

- Coordination of annual and regular meetings, involving document preparation, correspondence, meeting room management/bookings, minutes, and follow-up items

- Management and organization of events, venue sourcing, team activities and associated travel and booking arrangements

- Provide administrative support to the local Sydney-based team, the Board, and the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls team located in the US.

- Manage basic bookkeeping tasks including expense claims

- Assist with the setup and induction of new employees.



Key Competencies



- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting to senior management

- Proficiency in collaboration and working in a hands-on environment

- Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment

- Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills with superior multi-tasking abilities

- Professional level verbal and written communication skills

- Exceptional interpersonal skills

- Friendly and professional demeanour



Technical Skills



- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator/Adobe, website (CMS) management

- Professional/Organisational Skills

- Strong attention to detail, good time management and professional personal presentation

- Ability to work autonomously without supervision and as part of a team

- Knowledge of relevant company procedures

- Highly developed skills in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities, and in meeting conflicting deadlinesAnalytical Skills

- Problem-solving ability, logical reasoning ability

- Ability to review, identify and implement improvements in work practice
