The opportunity:

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and ambitious Recruitment Coordinator to join our dynamic People & Culture team in the New Year! Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Partner, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of talent acquisition and recruitment activities across our ANZ Retail network!

Based out of our Port Melbourne Support Office, this role would be ideal for someone who is meticulously organised, has a high attention to detail and who isn’t afraid of a fast pace!



What you’ll be doing:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:



- End-to-end recruitment on assigned roles - advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking and drawing up employment contracts.

- Co-facilitate and lead our high-volume Christmas and “Back to School” recruitment drives. This includes coordination of assessment centres, booking of venues as required, shortlisting hundreds of positions, managing and tracking invitations, presenting to large groups etc!

- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders - partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, clarify role requirements and use this information to inform best practices.

- Use sourcing capability to recruit candidates through a variety of channels including Seek, LinkedIn and our Applicant Tracking System (JobAdder).

- Create an exceptional recruitment experience for candidates, regardless of application outcomes.

- Maintain and update candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring data integrity.

- Help devise a social media plan to increase our current Brand Collective following on various channels (this will include the creation and scheduling of engaging content).

- Ensure recruitment processes are in line with company policy and approval requirements and fulfil all legislative requirements.

- Ensure compliance with all Right to Work requirements, including visas, with all our new starters.



What experience is required?



- Perhaps you’ve dabbled in recruitment, but you’re eager to roll up your sleeves and own it, end-to-end!

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or equivalent is desirable

- Knowledge of and/or experience with General Retail Award 2020

- Experience in the retail, hospitality or FMCG industries is essential
