This is a brilliant opportunity to join a highly respected NFP Home Care provider as a Care Advisor. Our client has a reputation for providing the highest level of residential and community care with access to ongoing learning and development opportunities, and structured career pathways. The Role

As the Care Advisor, you will ensure clients and customers receive outstanding service along with the renowned level of care the community has come to expect from the organisation. Working within the local community,

you will have the ability to build a strong presence and established networks to support future growth and business development opportunities. You will have access to pool cars and the opportunity to work in a region close to your home.

Your duties will include:

- Working with referral sources to increase client packages.

- Conducting home consultations and goal directed care planning.

- Managing a caseload which may include Home Care Package clients, NDIS clients (where funded) and privately funded fee for service clients.

- Managing the provision of services

- Effectively communicating with all relevant stakeholders

- Ensuring all packages are filled and package guidelines and requirements are met.

- Undertaking business development plans to expand the home care program in the region.

Key Selection Criteria

We are seeking a professional Care Advisor with the ability multi-task. With an good understanding of home care services, you will be self-driven and trustworthy with the ability to build respectful relationships. This is a client facing role and strong customer service skills are a must.

You will also possess:

- Experience in case management, client assessment, care planning and evaluation of care needs.

- Ability to drive business development and leverage your networks

- A relevant qualification

- Disability sector experience with a knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will also be advantageous

- Sound financial and budgeting skills and a level of business acumen.

- Valid Australian drivers’ licence
