The successful applicant will receive:



- A base salary of between $120-130K + Super + Car (or allowance) + a realistic $30-50k in comms

Our trusted client is a global business and mid-sized Australian building materials manufacturer that supply solutions that can be seen in many iconic projects across Vic and nationally. Typical projects their handy work can be seen include commercial, healthcare, education, stadia, infrastructure and mining, we present a rare opportunity in to hire, build and lead your own team Melbourne





Position in a nut shell:



As the Vic Sales Manager, you will be the forefront of the business, taking control of a small team in the inner Eastern Suburbs whilst also managing portfolio of accounts / new business opportunities across commercial and infrastructure projects



Key Responsibilities:



- Lead a small team

- Budgets and strategy meetings

- Recruitment of new staff

- Monthly meetings with other State Managers across Australia

- Manage an existing pipeline of projects

- Presenting to and meeting with Architects, Engineers and major Builders

- Continue to generate revenue and new opportunities across any of the following areas - Multi-Residential, High Rise Apartments, Commercial Construction, Schools, Hospitals, Industrial, Retail

- Working with Builders and installers, ensuring they are comfortable with every aspect of the installation process



Ideal Experience:



- Would best suit a high performing Senior BDM / Specification Manager from the building materials space that wants to move up into a leadership role OR

- Someone already leading a small team but enjoys winning projects

- Comfortable being on site, working with builders and contractors as well as an architects office

- A polished presenter - able to organise and conduct CPD presentations

- Recent success in holding specs and winning new work across any of the following areas - Multi-Residential, High Rise Apartments, Commercial Construction, Schools, Hospitals,, Infrastructure, Industrial, Retail

- Stable career history

- Ambitious, tenacious and driven with a real passion for delivering beyond the clients expectations

- A moderate - good level of IT skills

- We are open to any strong building materials applicants that can present to architects / engineers, lead a small team and sell a solution
