About the Role
The Assessment and Treatment Team (ATT) is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person to the role of Senior Occupational Therapist.
In this role, you will work as part of a multidisiciplinary team. You will also:
- Plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate occupational therapy services to patients in the clinical area of the ATT, using advanced occupational therapy clinical practice skills.
- Plan and implement and evaluate patient safety and quality of care.
- Practice as a Senior Occupational Therapist and ensure practice is in accordance to the occupational therapy professional and registration requirements, standards, codes and guidelines and South Metropolitan Health Service policies and guidelines.

Area Profile: The Assessment and Treatment Team (ATT) is the first point of access to Fremantle Hospital Mental Health Service for adults aged between 18 and 65 who reside in the Fremantle Hospital catchment area.
The principal function of the ATT is to triage and provide short term care for consumers referred by general practitioners or other service providers. People who present to the mental health service without a referral will be triaged and assessed by ATT before being treated or referred to other services.
Fremantle Hospital Mental Health Service (FHMHS) provides recovery focused mental health services. It works in partnership with consumers and their carers and acknowledges that each individual is an expert in their own recovery. FHMHS provides services to the residents of Fremantle, Cockburn and Melville.
