Yassas the Greek Way has an exciting full-time opportunity available for an experienced Venue/Restaurant Manager to lead the Front of House team members! Yassas the Greek Way offer a unique experience to traditional Greek street food with a Melbourne twist. Our businesses span across three locations including Southbank, Docklands and Ringwood, and as we have grown so has our need to grow our team.

The role of Venue/Restaurant Manager is for our Southbank and Ringwood site will be reporting directly to the Owners/Directors of the business. We are seeking a hospitality professional who is customer centric and focused on delivering exceptional customer experience whilst leading and developing staff members.

Qualifications & experience

Minimum 2-4 years as a Restaurant Manager (Required)

Diploma in Hospitality Management preferred

Bilingual with Greek and English language is an added advantage

Well versed with fair work laws, policies and procedures

Tasks & responsibilities

Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction

Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

Regularly review product quality

Organize and supervise shifts

Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products

Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

Manage restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it. Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events

Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste Recommend ways to reach a broader audience ( discounts and social media ads) Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Salary Details :

Negotiable from $54,500 - $64,500
