The Opportunity



Due to an internal promotion an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Customer Support Representative based in our Sunshine Coast, Queensland branch.





The purpose of the position is to service the needs of our broad customer base throughout the allocated region, predominantly major mining customers as well as large and medium sized contractors and construction companies in all parts sales and enquiries.



Key Responsibilities





- Performs weekly checks of outstanding customer orders to ensure supply within a short timeframe

- Be proactive by forms of offering suggestions or complying within cost control measures

- Perform special projects as per instruction by Customer Service Supervisor

- Perform warehouse duties on occasions to offer a more superior customer service

- Establish and maintain channels of communication with all CSR’s

- Be familiar with client’s machines, processes and specific requirements

- Provide a regular fee back to clients through back order reports and advice of delivery status proactively

- Advise the Customer Service Supervisor of any potential problems or opportunities that may arise with discussions

- Recommend process improvements with regards to efficiency and profitability of the parts departments





The Knowledge, Skills And Abilities We’re Looking For





- Current drivers licence and forklift licence is essential

- Able to consistently meet customer and company expectations

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Maintains a high level of Safety and Housekeeping

- Highly organised individual, able to plan & achieve day to day activities

- Able to establishes and develop relationships at all levels

- Show the ability to deal with difficult situations

- Able to interpret the customer’s needs correctly, suggesting alternative options to the customer





We Will Also Highly Regard





- Previous experience in a warehouse environment

- Sound computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office

- A background in parts sales and good mechanical aptitude
