The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced National Business Manager to join our team at Fairfield Head Office. Reporting to the General Manager Construction & Utility, you will be responsible for the promotion of all new equipment sales to the Quarry & Associated industries with a specific focus on Construction Wheel Loaders/Articulated/Rigid Dump Trucks.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for all Quarry sales throughout Australia, New Zealand & New Caledonia.

- Managing national key accounts within the General Construction segments and implementing agreements/ policy on a national basis.

- Working with Marketing on pricing, global marketing strategies and product development strategies for assigned Wheel Loader & off-road truck product lines.

- Developing and implementing national marketing plans for the General Construction segments and assigned product lines.

- Maintaining market intelligence and price positioning within the General construction segment and assigned product lines.

- Maintaining appropriate levels of new equipment stock to meet national sales objectives in Construction segments/ assigned product lines and minimise the risk of aged stock.

The Knowledge, Skills And Abilities We’re Looking For

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in capital equipment sales within Quarry and Construction

- Highly developed communication skills – verbal and written

- Understanding of customer processes and requirements.

- Highly driven and commercially focussed

- The ability to formulate and implement marketing plans on a national level

- Technical aptitude for mechanical & civil construction applications

- Computer literate in MS Office applications

- Experience in SAP applications desirable
