Details of Role

COVID- Vaccination Program Medical Officers are expected to provide a high level of medical oversight within their approved scope of clinical practice as part of the COVID- Vaccination Program team at Austin Healthp>

The position will be based at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital trobe University Clinics ms to provide collaborative medical guidance about immunisation assessment, emergency response leadership teriorating patient aphylaxis Confidential on site, in conjunction with the clinical stafft will also incorporate phone advice to the Austin Vaccination clinic staffp>

The COVID- Vaccination Program Medical Officer will be trained in accordance with the Commonwealth ctorian DHHS requirements e called upon to vaccinate as required in the clinicsp>

Hours weekly:

up to 40 hours weekly 6full time equivalent roles available

Assess suitability fety for vaccination

Manage deteriorating patients in the vaccination clinic

Administer COVID- vaccines

To be successful in this role you must:

Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA

Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care

Demonstrate a commitment to working as a team member with peer medical, junior medical, nursing her clinical staff to provide efficient, safe ality care across the continuum, >Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, training searchr>
