We’re looking for an experienced Social Media gun to join our incredible team on a full-time basis.

The purpose of the Social Media Manager role is to own and develop our digital and social ecosystem, including driving our presence and the social media calendar, strategising opportunities for growth and expansion on existing platforms, identifying opportunities on new platforms, testing and learning growth concepts and working with relevant team members to identify and implement content initiatives and ideas to promote our brand, expand our reach, and increase our sales.

The successful candidate will know that our social channels are pivotal in our brand’s success. This role requires a creative strategist with out-of-the-box thinking who can drive and direct all social media related activities, ensuring all content creation, planning, scheduling, reposting, community management and reporting are well executed and drive continuous improvement with our social presence. Project management will be a critical tool in driving and executing the elements of this role.

You will also be responsible for managing the Social Media Assistant and Community Manager, collaborating and working together to maintain a world-class social media presence that reaches a broad, highly engaged audience. You will work collaboratively across the wider business to achieve both social and joint business outcomes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

·        Demonstrated experience in a Social Media role, or similar, with proven ability in strategy creation, implementation, creation, and management of content across multiple social platforms within an eCommerce or retail business environment.

·        Research and growth - Utilise existing knowledge and continuously engage in research to build upon and implement new attractive growth-focused social strategies.

·        Content Strategy - Identify and implement new opportunities and initiatives aligned with brand strategy, to promote our products and brand on social media.

·        Scheduling and content plans - Develop and schedule content calendar posting on all relevant content platforms, targeted to the audience and platform.

·        Content creation and project management – Project design and manage content photo and video shoots for social channels.

·        Daily engagement and reach – Ensure daily upkeep and management of social media channels occurs – including reviewing channels daily, tagging, reposting stories, checking tags to maximise engagement and reach.

·      Community Management – Ensure our social communities across all platforms and groups are engaged within a personality-fuelled on-brand manner, with all comments, questions, and queries responded to.

·      Customer Service – Be obsessed with keeping our followers connected, engaged, and loyal fans of the brand.

·      Copywriting highly engaging copy for social media content.

·      Brand voice - Maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice across all our channels.

·      Reporting and analytics – Using data-driven insights, reporting, and analytics to further maximise performance on all social platforms.

·       Experience with organic and paid approaches to increase reach and sales.

·      Management and Coaching – A great people manager with the ability to build capacity and skills that achieve excellence in results and performance.

·      Always on engagement - Social media never sleeps - ensuring the community is engaged during necessary times, with Time Off In Lieu to balance things out.

·      Industry Insights - Passion for Retail and Ecommerce with an interest in staying up to date with key industry trends  

·      Trendspotting - Staying up to date with current digital and social media trends, sharing insights with the wider business.

Skills, Experience & Characteristics:

·      Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

·      Hands-on experience in a similar role for minimum 2 years

·      Advanced social media platform experience (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest,)

·      Strong management and coaching skills

·      Ability to perform well in fast-paced, agile, entrepreneurial team and environment.

·      Ability to think fast and take action under pressure.

·      Proactive and self-motivated, a fast learner who seeks out challenges to further their skillset

·      Genuine interest in pursuing a successful career in social media and marketing

·      Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills including copywriting skills

·      Creative and innovative problem-solving skills

·      Be able to use Canva and/or other editing programs such as InDesign, or Photoshop to support with editing and generating visual assets for social

·      An incredible attitude and love for personal growth and achievement

·      Reliable, respectful, and friendly with a positive attitude
