working with key partners and community to support global learning and engagement in our schools.
Your Role
The Project Officer reports to the Principal Project Officer, Global Engagement, within the Department of Education International (DEi). The Global Engagement team delivers a variety of immersive programs and opportunities each year for students, teachers, education leaders, and Queensland schools. These programs are offered online, domestically, and through inbound and outbound immersion experiences.
As the Project Officer, you will undertake specialist project activities to ensure the achievement of key outcomes. This includes implementing and monitoring operational plans and coordinating activities with a variety of stakeholders and team members to meet project objectives effectively.
Responsibilities Include
- Undertake and support specialist project activities to achieve successful outcomes in line with project objectives.
- Coordinate and monitor the operational phases of project plans, ensuring activities align with timelines and meet the needs of diverse clients and team members.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, correspondence,
and presentations, providing insights into project progress and outcomes.
- Manage communication channels, including generic mailboxes, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and maintaining documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including internal teams, government officials, external partners, and international institutions, to facilitate seamless program delivery.
