About the role:
We are currently working on multiple major projects, new and existing, throughout the Adelaide region. We are looking for reliable and self motivated Traffic Controllers, Team Leaders and TMA Operators to join our team and grow with our business. With a strong pipeline of work, now is the time to jump onboard and be rewarded with consistent shifts, progression opportunities and to be the benchmark in the industry.
Duties:
- Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
- Complete vehicle pre-start checks
- Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
- Complete required paperwork
- Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
- Report on site hazards and near misses
- Monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
- Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, or inspectors and auditors
- Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public
Skills & Experience:
- Work Zone Traffic Management Ticket - WZTM
- OHS White/blue card
- Driver's license with confident ability to drive manual vehicle
- TMA ticket is highly regarded.
- own reliable transport to attend work
- People who can work individually and in teams
- Safety focused people with excellent communication skills
