Key Responsibilities
This role offers a diverse range of exciting and impactful responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
- Spearheading the establishment, development and growth of the wills and estates practice nationally
- Develop, refine, and standardise legal precedents and operational processes nationally to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior lawyers and support staff, fostering their professional development
- Implement robust quality control and risk management practices
- Facilitate clear communication channels between team members, clients, and other stakeholders
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the wills and estates practice
- Conduct regular practice meetings and produce comprehensive progress reports for senior management
- Stay abreast of changes in wills and estates practices and support the delivery of training and professional development nationally
- Provide effective and inspiring leadership with active involvement in all programs and services
- Conceptualise and develop new service offerings to expand the firm's market reach
- Serve as legal practice director
Key Position Requirements
Successful applicants will demonstrate the following:
- 5-8+ years PAE and a current unrestricted practising certificate
- you will be expert in all areas of estate planning including wills, powers of attorney, trusts and superannuation
- excellent communication skills with the ability to build genuine relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer and stakeholder focus and work ethic
- strong IT literacy, including an aptitude for learning (and becoming proficient in) the use of legal technology and IT applications
- professional presentation
- ability to multitask and manage several different tasks/jobs at once in an organised and coherent manner
- great attention to detail
