The Role As a key member of the DXC Red Rock Senior Leadership Team, the Director for Enterprise Applications is an extremely pivotal role within the organisation - we are looking to employ a high calibre, experienced and passionate individual to lead our Oracle pre-sales and solutioning capability across ANZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering presales excellence across the Oracle application portfolio - including traditional (on premise) applications and SaaS applications, focussed mainly on ERP, HCM, SCM and CX. The Director for Enterprise Application defines and is responsible for the applications business go to market, working directly with their counter parts at Oracle and coordinating with a number of third party vendors and the broader DXC business. The role also includes the line management of the DXC Red Rock Solutions (applications presales) team which consists of approximately 12 senior Solution Directors and Cloud Transformation Directors across Australia and New Zealand. This role is offered on a permanent full-time capacity based in either Melbourne or Sydney, other cities in ANZ will be considered for the right candidate. In this role, the successful candidate will be driving strategic client business solutions, primarily focussed on the modernisation of client’s technology and application landscapes to Industry leading Oracle Cloud solutions. Responsibilities Strategy: Definition and execution of the applications business go to market, partner ecosystem, investment requirements, IP development and methodology. Pre-sales: Working with the regional sales team to identify and qualify opportunities and attending customer/prospect meetings, providing inputs into proposals for the practice, and presenting and/or demonstrating their solution as part of bid presentations Line Management: Manage a high performing team of approximately 12 staff across ANZ Growth: Developing and executing on the pipeline of work generated, identification of key resources in the market place to build and drive capabilities Delivery excellence: Ensuring there is a consistent and repeatable methodology for the delivery of projects, and providing QA services to key projects Collaboration: Working with Oracle (predominantly Presales, Product Strategy) and third party vendors to develop best in class winning solutions and proposals Experience Required Extensive experience in the articulation of strategic client solutions using Oracle Cloud (with a focus on Applications) offerings Proven experience in medium to large scale transformation projects Solid experience in providing solution leadership across Oracle cloud apps Strong background in building strategy, supporting sales and pre-sales by providing input into bids and proposals for Oracle Cloud apps. Strong track record of generating revenue and margin growth Proven experience in driving a solutions focused practice within a consultancy or software vendor Excellent communication skills and strong passion for presales excellence and quality Excellent stakeholder engagement capability This pivotal role provides an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and growth-oriented practice within a leading organisation with substantial career opportunity.
