The company





Our client is a rapidly growing SaaS company in the RecTech sector. Passionate about recruitment, technology and SaaS, this team of tech geniuses has developed a solution which will enhance the pre-screening process for all involved stakeholders.





Reporting directly to the senior leadership, the Business Development Manager will primarily be responsible for supporting company’s growth and position in the global RecTech market. As a BDM you will also be required to maintain a through knowledge of the businesses offerings, identify new business opportunities and coordinate with internal teams such as the sales, marketing,

product engineering and customer success team ensuring the full sales cycle is thoroughly managed.





Key responsibilities





- Gain a deep understanding of company’s offering, the ReTech market and technology platform



- Build strategic partnerships and be fully accountable for growth, profitability, management of new accounts



- Research and identify new prospects and commence engagement to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities



- Participate in weekly sales blitz activities and marketing initiatives to generate new opportunities for our client company



- Meet potential clients, conduct product demonstrations with planned approaches and pitches and negotiate agreements



- Negotiate the pricing and implementation of our client company’s services and products with customers and prospective customers in order to satisfy the needs of the customers and also to deliver the services and goods in a way that is profitable for our client company



- Close deals so as to meet or exceed clearly defined business development targets



- Report on and forecasting sales and pipeline



- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion



- Generate information and insights from customer’s feedback and identify actionable insights





Requirements



- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Business Development capacity, across tech sector



- Subject matter expertise in software solutions, SaaS platforms



- A passion for business development as a discipline, backed by an understanding of leading business development frameworks and methodologies for success



- Demonstrated capability to meet and exceed sales targets



- A highly professional self starter with an innate drive to win



- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with a proven ability to present complex solutions and build strong long term partnerships
