About Our Client
An established and leading Finance and Investment firm having funded over $3billion in investments and managing over $1billion in AUM. They have a belief to keep the interests of their investors and business partners at the centre of all that they do.
Deal Analysis and Execution
Assist with the delivery of investments including initial due diligence, deal assessment, terms sheets, investment overviews, settlements, ongoing monitoring, and PCG attendance.
Manage all aspects of deal transactions from execution of Indicative Terms Sheets through to financial close and ultimately repayment.
Review due diligence documentation provided by counter parties and stakeholders to accurately assess new business opportunities.
Detailed financial analysis and modelling.
Transaction risk identification, mitigation, and management.
Accurate and timely preparation of Investment Overviews for credit and investment committee.
Regular portfolio review and preparation of investor updates.
Professionally and efficiently addressing concerns or queries raised by clients, third parties and key stakeholders.
Compile and share industry knowledge, market intelligence, and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
Liaise with existing clients and meet with prospective clients alongside the business development team.
Create, maintain and manage relationships internally with various stakeholders including finance, management, and investor services, and externally with existing clients focusing on building and sustaining trust and engagement.
Maintain a strong presence at industry and related events to build networks.
The Successful Applicant
Excellent numerical skills with high level of analysis and critical thinking skills as well as attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial modelling principals.
Sound judgement and decision making plus the ability to work at a fast pace.
Strong problem solving with ability to identify issues and develop solutions - recognise importance of a systematic approach to problem solving.
Ability to develop and nurture new relationships.
Tertiary qualification in Commerce or Finance with preference for CFA.
Looking for a range of 3-7 years' experience in finance and/or property related industries.
Would also consider a recent graduate/1-2 years exp with excellent academic results and attitude
