Your role in a nutshell:

This role sits within the Content & Partnerships department of Wavemaker. The department brings creativity to media and acts as the interface between Wavemaker and our partners (be that media beyond spots & dots, production, influencer, activation, talent, sports & entertainment or even WPP), to ensure client campaigns are executed and amplified in an effective, creative and future facing, Wavemaker way. Our role is to compliment the core planning & buying of media which is a core discipline of the agency.

This role reports to the C&P; Director

Your responsibilities:


Support other team members and pro-actively ask where additional assistance can be provided, beyond the day-to-day Openly communicate and collaborate with all internal Key Stakeholders and reports regularly Develop an understanding of the wider agency structure and resource available to tap into outside of the C&P; team to enhance work. Actively participate in weekly WIPs Assist in the training and development of Analysts in the team


Establish an understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiatives. Build relationships with our clients, working collaboratively to support their requests to Wavemaker and managing the process and timelines. Proactively communicate with C&P; team internally (any updates, market trends, key developments) Work collaboratively with Media Content/Digital Content arms and/or platform partners, ensuring strong relationships are developed from the outset and you have an understanding about their offerings and relevance to our clients Engage with our WM product teams and GroupM proprietary product and service teams to ensure you have an understanding about their offerings and relevance to our clients Demonstrate broad knowledge across 8 pillars of Content & Partnerships and be able to identify when expertise is needed ie. SEO, Social Support Manager/Director/Head of on projects at a high standard, being an extension of the clients marketing team


Support the Content & Partnerships function across all touch points, ensuring maximum value is delivered for our clients on a campaign by campaign basis. Support Managers and Directors of C&P; on campaigns from ideation, evaluation, negotiation, strategy to implementation stage (production, activation, experiential) Support Manager/Director as required for production and distribution of integrated content (Integrated TVCs, Interstitials, Product integration, product placement, integrated Billboards etc.) Help manage social media or content plans to compliment partnerships by working with client and/or agency partners to ensure we are as integrated in our approach to the clients brief as possible (at times this will also require collaboration with the WM Paid Social team) Keep up to date with rapidly evolving cultural, influencer and social trends to ensure the idea’s we produce have relevance to the target audience for our client briefs Construct and present insightful and progressive post analysis reports Demonstrates an understanding of the buying principles of Social, Influencer, TV, Digital, & SEO so that they can create great ‘content’ work Responsible for assisting/ coordinating weekly tracking/ reporting of campaign performance

What you will need:

Passion for Content & Partnerships and Influencer Management Passion for Social and Media Creativity Well developed, up to date, media landscape knowledge (able to articulate current consumer insights) Demonstrate well developed creative thinking, strategic & planning skills Established tools knowledge (Matchmaker, ContentScan, Tagger, Phlanx, Brandwatch, Social Bakers, BuzzSumo, PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.)
