- Role open to a current Head of Marketing or Marketing Manager/Senior Product Manager looking to take that next step for career progression.


- This strategic Head of Marketing position is responsible for translating business sector strategies into sales and marketing activities to ensure division targets are met.

- You will own the upper portion of the sales funnel and be responsible for generating strategies, tactics and activities to establish market awareness, acceptance and sales leads which result in revenue.

- This role leads and develops a team comprised of 5 marketing leaders, so has a very big leadership focus.

- The types of activities you and your team will be chartered with relate to the following;

- Which markets to compete in and when and knowing your competitive advantage, having full transparency of the sales funnel, advising on market development opportunities, threats and risks.

- Develop and monitor KPI’s to measure the quality of the sales funnel.

- Responsible for lead generation and the identification of weak areas of sales funnel and generating initiatives to fill pipeline.

- Analyse and utilise SAP CRM to drive marketing sales initiatives and tactics.

- Own the marketing plan, budget, price and positioning.

- Develop and drive the KOL strategy including the identification of emerging KOL’s.

- Identify, budget, plan, with the marketing communications manager, to enable activities to support business sector growth along with facilitating the implementation of brand communication concerning image, product and promotional communication and corporate communications.


- Marketing or related degree followed by a minimum of ten years of professional services experience in a marketing and communications leadership role in the medical device industry.

- Demonstrated experience and understanding in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organisational strategic objectives.

- Experience in leading and developing teams, able to articulate your leadership success.

- Advanced written and verbal communication skills and ability to make corporate level presentations.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills.

- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

- The ability to work to deadlines and flexibility to adapt to changes in a dynamic environment.
