We are looking for a Legal Secretary / Paralegal to join our Governance team at our Central Office in Glenside.
About the role
This person will be responsible for the delivery of efficient, accurate,
and timely document preparation, administrative support and records management for the Company Secretary & Legal Counsel.
The role involves preparation of legal documents including contracts, policies and procedures using the organisation’s brand toolkit and templates, preparation of correspondence and reports, regulatory applications and notifications, maintaining registers, and liaising with internal customers and external parties.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal.
You are highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks to get the best outcomes every day. You have strong attention to detail, accuracy and consistency in all communications. You have the ability to work and learn various processes in a fast-paced environment. You will have exceptional document formatting skills in Word, using the full suite of tools. You will take pride in your work aiming to produce easy to understand and visually attractive documents.
Familiarity with or ability to create documents and templates using Restrict Editing and Content Controls (eg Date Picker, Drop Down List and Tick Box) in Word is highly desirable but not essential.
All Southern Cross Care employees also require a current National Police Certificate for the purpose of Aged Care employment.
