This position is for Senior Occupational Therapists to provide clinical services to  the area of Early Intervention Occupational Therapy.

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Part Time appointments at 60.8 hours per fortnight, or combinations of part time appointments totalling 60.8 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s).

This is a Fixed Term opportunity while the substantive occupant is on a period of Parental Leave.

Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and enthusiastic persons to the position of Senior Occupational Therapist in the Early Intervention area. In this position, you will plan, implement and evaluate Occupational Therapy services using advanced occupational therapy practice skills providing appropriate screening, assessment, treatment and clinical review of inpatients and outpatients in the clinical area of Early Intervention Occupational Therapy.

The  Child and   Adolescent Health Service (CAHS)  aims to ensure that the children and young people of Western Australia get the best start in life through health promotion; early intervention; and patient centred, family-focused care. 

CAHS employs over 4000 people and provides services throughout the community within metropolitan Perth; operating the State’s only dedicated Tertiary Paediatric Hospital (Perth Children’s Hospital); providing specialised state wide services; as well as providing support to other hospitals and health services across Western Australia.
