This role plays an important part in a team within the Schools Finance and Resources Branch that provides support to schools and internal customers regarding school funding and costs relating to the Student Resource Package (SRP), which funds government schools. The role is involved with ensuring that school expenditure from the department's payroll system is accurately recorded in schools' SRP reports and provides support for the SRP budget planner, end of year reconciliation and leave processes.

An opportunity exists for someone to expand their career set as part of a team within the Department of Education and Training's Schools Finance and Resources Branch, which manages government schools' funding through the Student Resource Package.



You will be involved with providing client support to government schools and internal customers regarding school funding and costs relating to the Student Resource Package (SRP). The role is involved with ensuring that school expenditure from the department's payroll system is accurately recorded in schools' SRP reports and provides support for the SRP budget planner, end of year reconciliation and leave processes. You will ideally have good communications skills in order to deal effectively with schools.
