An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Grade 2 Night shift Medical Imaging Technologist to join our Radiology Department. Remuneration will be dependent on experience and skills.
The Radiology Department operates at both the Austin and the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospitals and provides a full range of diagnostic and interventional radiology services to the patients of Austin Health and the surrounding community.
Imaging for inpatients, Emergency Department patients, MRI and all interventional cases is performed at the Austin Hospital. The current vacancy is 40 hours per week on night shifts (4 x 10hr shifts, Thursday through Sunday nights), and will suit a single full-time applicant or multiple part-time applicants. The suitable applicant/s will be a minimum of 3-4 years qualified with CT and X-ray experience. Cath lab and DSA skills are desirable, but not essential. Training will be provided on day shift prior to commencing night shift with an expectation of returning to day shift on a regular basis for refresher training and to continue to up skill in other areas.
The Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital deals almost entirely with outpatients.
