Join the ResMed Sleep and Respiratory Care Team today! ResMed is a global leader in connected devices and digital health. We help millions of people sleep, breathe and live better lives. Are you ready to help fuel our growth? As ResMed continues to evolve with the future of healthcare, our customer-centric organization focuses on cloud-connected devices and digital health technologies that are designed to help treat and manage sleep apnea, COPD, and other chronic respiratory diseases that, together, affect over one billion people worldwide. If you share a passion for transforming care, keeping people healthy and out of the hospital, and lowering healthcare costs, ResMed invites you to apply to an applicable role (e.g. marketing,

sales or product development) within the diverse and talented Sleep and Respiratory Care team. Manager or Associate Manager Role Full Time or Part Time The Materials Engineering Group is responsible for the materials strategy and development with ResMed’s product development groups globally. We pride ourselves on constantly adapting, and relentlessly improving in order to maximize the value that we add to the broader organization. As the leader of the Sustainability team, the value you will add is enormous - you will be the leading voice of sustainability within our group and across ResMed. Ideally bringing with you a deep technical materials sustainability background, you will come with an understanding of technology trends, concepts, regulatory & market landscape and people. You will leverage this knowledge and use your significant influencing skills to create momentum across the company towards meeting and exceeding our sustainability targets throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle across the ResMed portfolio. Working alongside the other motivated members in the Materials Group, Design Groups, Product Management and various leaders across the company, you will be an agent for sustainable change. Let’s talk about Responsibilities: You will drive the company towards meeting and exceeding our current sustainability targets throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle. You will plan for and commit to future ambitious aspirational targets and work to influence the best decisions towards those goals by leveraging a nuanced risk-based approach that balances the commercial realities with the drive for sustainability. You will be responsible for informing the sustainability product and reporting requirements globally, and ensuring ongoing compliance within the evolving world of sustainability standards. You will not only be a supportive and inspirational leader for the sustainability engineer in your team, and be committed to a continuous learning journey for you and your team member, but you will be a hands-on individual contributor. You will develop your people with the support of your manager and broader people leadership team. Provide growth opportunities for development aligned to the 70:20:10 model. You will be a champion for the growth of the department culture. Create safety and trust within the team, learn from failures and celebrate diversity of thought. You will bring a passion for understanding the constraints imposed on medical device materials intended for high volume manufacture and you will work to align, and influence the choice of materials, processes and approach to sustainability across ResMed. You will use your understanding of people to create an environment of excitement and volunteerism about sustainability, taking any hurdles as challenges, not obstacles, and ensuring the team understand more and improve from any mistakes – together with the team, you will create a learning institution around sustainability. You will present periodically at various forums, from engineering through to senior stakeholder, and be able to adapt your style to be compelling across all stakeholder levels. You are able to work to tight deadlines in a sometimes ambiguous, always innovative, environment. You are market-savvy, combining technical input, business insight, commercial acumen and a knack for negotiating competing priorities to make sound, informed decisions. Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience: To get us really excited, you have a degree in Engineering or Science with a strong understanding of polymers and textiles with proven experience in areas including test methods, instrumentation, processing effects, data interpretation and implications on sustainability. You have broad based, commercial experience; used to making trade-off decisions between commercial and technical forces. You have Project Management skills and a clear and persuasive communicator, both spoken and written. #LI-MC1 Joining us is more than saying “yes” to making the world a healthier place. It’s discovering a career that’s challenging, supportive and inspiring. Where a culture driven by excellence helps you not only meet your goals, but also create new ones. We focus on creating a diverse and inclusive culture, encouraging individual expression in the workplace and thrive on the innovative ideas this generates. If this sounds like the workplace for you, apply now!
