The Women’s Quality and Safety Unit provides an expert advisory service to the staff and services of the Women’s on quality improvement and risk management strategies,

systems and activities. It is responsible for the provision of designated data and information to service areas and relevant external agencies and for the facilitation of quality improvement activities. The Unit is responsible for the co-ordination of the hospital accreditation and associated activities. 

Your contribution 

The Administration Officer provides administrative support for the meetings and activities of the Unit, the Director and the members of the Quality and Safety team.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

- Data and information management support including accurate and timely provision of information

- Meeting management including agendas and minutes completed and available as per agreed schedule

- Ability to accept responsibility, perform successfully without supervision, determine priorities, work under pressure and administer workloads with deadlines attached.

About you

To be successful within this role you will need to have:

- Excellent administrative and organisational skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral

- Advanced computing skills including the MS Office suite of programs ( SharePoint and Excel)

- Experience with the Victorian Health Incident Management System (VHIMS)
