The Gynaecological Oncology Unit provides sub-specialist treatment and care to women with gynaecological cancer or pre cancer and the Fellow in Gynaecological Oncology are responsible for the provision of excellent clinical care to women who are outpatients or inpatients of the Royal Women's Hospital and their babies and families.
This position offers broad experience in all aspects of gynaecological oncology in this busy multidisciplinary unit. This position is available to all trainees who will have completed 4 years ITP training and a preference will be given to those applicants who have successfully completed FRANZCOG written and oral exams, or equivalent. As this position is noted as an unaccredited registrar, this 12 months may not be recognised by RANZCOG towards subspecialty training as previous recognition as such for any training specifics in the future.
The successful applicant for this position in gynaecological oncology should have completed hold:
- Significant experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- MB BS or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with AHPRA
- RANZCOG, FRANZCOG or equivalent (Desirable but not essential).
The Classification and Salary scale will be dependent on experience and you will be appointed and in accordance to the AMA Victoria - Victoria Public Health Sector (AMA Victoria) – Doctors in Training Agreement -.
