The Maternal-Fetal Medicine service manages women with high risk pregnancies in association with the other relevant Departments, and undertakes clinical research into pregnancy disorders.
This position offers an experience in all aspects of MFM. Fellows will be expected to participate fully in the clinical service, research and education commitments of the MFM Service,
under the overall supervision of the Director of the Department of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Applicants must have obtained FRANZCOG or equivalent. The positions are accredited by RANZCOG for subspecialty training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- As well, from time to time, a Clinical Research Fellow position may be available to FRANZCOG, or equivalent trainees or graduates. Applicants intending to enrol in MD, PhD or other post graduate research degree programmes with relevant scholarship support are preferred.
Specific research projects are available, but applicants are welcome to nominate their own project. Some clinical duties can be incorporated into this position.

The Classification and Salary scale will be dependent on experience and you will be appointed and in accordance to the AMA Victoria – Victorian Public Health Sector – Doctors in Training Enterprise Agreement -.
